The World is Coming to an End

On CNN today, a Report says Time Warner held AOL sale talks with Microsoft - Mar. 19, 2004. This could mean some serious serious problems for computer users in general. Not only would Microsoft then own the world's largest ISP, but they'd also own their main competitive browser: Netscape.

The Netscape/Microsoft Internet Explorer controversy was one of the first that sparked the MS Anti-trust suits years ago. I highly doubt that this acquisition will make it past the FTC. If it is successful though, we're looking at a major major monopoly problem. Your alternative? Mozilla.

Screw You RIAA

Common targets in the past have been The Whitehouse, Microsoft Corp., and SCO.

Microsoft also has had viruses targeting them with messages that say things like "Stop letting us keep doing this".

Here is a list of sites targeted by MyDOOM.
