What to call the new Chairman

The new Chairman of the DNC, Governor Howard Dean, would like to be called Governor Dean since Chairman Dean is too long. Governor is three syllables. Chairman has two. Same number of letters.

Good news on a political front though...

According to the FEC website, individuals can now give $2,100 to Federal Candidates (up from $2,000 in 2004), $26,700 to National Party Committees (up from $25,000), and $37,300 to Senatorial Campaigns (up from $35,000).
Although the Drudge Report is saying that the FEC may tighten restrictions around internet political activity. I think this has more to do with the 501(c)(4) non-profits such as MoveOn though.
